UNWTO as a partner
Martin Barth was able to win the World Tourism Organization of the UN (UNWTO) as a new partner of the Lucerne forum; 155 countries and more than 400 members within the private tourism sector are a part of it. The agreement intends a cooperation for the support of the younger generation within the tourism industry. A similar partnership already exists with the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The WTFL is the only tourism convention worldwide that also has the future generation of decision-makers in focus. Each of the participating top executives may invite their best junior staff member from their own company. The forum will receive additional weight with the initiation of the "Think Tank" where the designated subjects will be deepened. 20 top executives and young junior staff members, the so-called "movers & shapers" will be a part of it.
As of now, the detailed programme and the registration possibilities are available under www.wtflucerne.org. The participation fee begins at 600 Swiss Francs (approx. 495 Euro) for half a day and until the end of December, one more early booker discount of 15 percent will be granted. / kn
