Duesseldorf (September 1, 2006). Urban leisure real estate is becoming ever more closely connected to tourism. Whether it be an adventure park or sport complex, fitness studio or indoor world, they all have an effect on how we organise our leisure time. With such potential, such facilities have also become a competition factor for hotels which are also focussed on the region and short trip holidaymakers. Bernd Heuer Dialog from Duesseldorf on "Urban Leisure Real Estate for Sportsmen, Shoppers and Tourists", a specialist congress directly following ExpoReal in October in Munich. hospitalityInside.com is exclusive media partner for the event.

The specialist "Dialog" will take place on 25 and 26 October in the honorary guest area of Munich's Olympic Stadium. It will begin with a tour: Participants travel on Wednesday afternoon from Munich to Guenzburg, where the Prince Eugene Park is presently in construction. Participants learn details about the project, the present state of planning and about the concept - the synergetic use of health, education and free time.

Visiting the leisure park is good preparation for the conference on Thursday 26. October where the BAT leisure research institute in Hamburg will also take the stand with facts and figures on urban leisure. Germany's leading leisure consulting firm, Wenzel Consulting, explains what is required of the real estate and their effects. A speaker from IPC then takes a look at the influence of international capital on German projects.

A consultant from Pleon Kohtes Klewes throws light on "City Brandings" and a large discussion round focuses on the city mix of consumer culture and edutainment. So who is behind city development?

During a long midday break, participants later visit Munich's Sea Life centre - a recent success story amongst leisure real estate. And there is no lack of concrete examples illustrating the subject matter of the conference, even Gelsenkirchen Zoom Adventure World and Munich's Olympic Park present themselves to an interested audience. All of these examples show through the connection between experience and social/urban surroundings that successful leisure real estate projects also have a lot to do with attraction and attractiveness. Accordingly, Kai Schimmelfeder from Feder consulting in Hamburg throws light on new fitness, wellness and shopping cities.

Representatives from further specialist consultancy firms dedicate themselves to the topic of the restyling of old warehouse buildings into new indoor worlds and on brand communication. Towards the end of the event, participants visit the nearby BMW-World, at least virtually. Computer simulations provide a glimpse of how the new BMW complex will look when finished.

Further information can be found on Heuer Dialog's website at www.heuer-dialog.de . Participation costs 1,100 Euros (plus VAT), inclusive of programme, lunch and drinks. / map
