Munich (October 16, 2009). The debut of "Bricks & Brains", the first joint networking event of Expo Real and hospitalityInside, received positive feedback. About 150 selected guests from the hospitality industry and its "related industries" like investment, project development, architecture/design, and consulting met at the evening exhibition event. 2010 will see a sequel; that is for sure. "I liked the setting very much, and the large number of talks I had within an hour was amazing. It is quite an achievement to bring together such a large number of ''movers & shakers'' after an exhausting exhibition day. I congratulate the organisers for their idea and I''m already looking forward to Bricks & Brains 2010." Markus Beike, Managing Director, Christie + Co., Berlin
"I enjoyed the occasion very much, and thanks to the restrictive selection of participants, it offered a great opportunity to talk with other participants." Rolf E. Broennimann, Owner, SH Swiss Hospitality Group, Zürich
"Bricks & Brains was a great event! The mix of guests reflected just the right mixture of industries related to hospitality. A truly worthwhile event!" Sascha Gechter, Managing Director, Meininger Hotels, Berlin
"Bricks & Brains was an excellent opportunity to have talks revolving around the hotel industry in a relaxed atmosphere, gather first-hand news about new projects, refresh friendships and acquaintances, and even establish new contacts. The location of the Hospitality Industry Dialogue was fantastically suitable as a separation to the many parties at other exhibition stands in the hall. The service rendered by Kempinski Hotels employees was perfect. Thank you very much, organisers!" Uwe Niemann, Real Estate Banking Germany, Deutsche Hypothekenbank, Hanover
"Bricks & Brains was a great opportunity to meet highly qualified specialists in a cultivated, but casual atmosphere without the promotional contributions of sponsors. This will definitely result in common fields of action, the complementing of networks, as well as interesting contacts. In short, an extreme density of interesting contacts, unexpected reunions, and exciting people in a great atmosphere!" Dagmar Rizzato, Managing Director, Rizzato Spa Consulting, Tettnang
"Nothing is more important than personal contact and professional exchange with colleagues, investors, bankers, and project developers. Bricks & Brains makes perfect networking possible in a casual but professional atmosphere. I hope that it will be continued!" Elke Schade, Managing Director, Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Cologne
"A good opportunity for exchange that emphasises the importance of hospitality at Expo. Bricks & Brains gives more importance to the industry." Georg Schlegel, Senior Develoment Director Select Service Brands EAME, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Brussels
"With Bricks & Brains, the organisers successfully brought together the ''right people'' in a nice atmosphere and corresponding ambience. I would be very glad, if this get together continued to be a part of the hospitality day at Expo Real in future." Dirk Schuldes, Head of Managed & Operational Properties, Eurohypo AG, Frankfurt
"Thanks to Bricks & Brains, Expo Real is ultimately becoming the most important industry meeting of the year! Hospitality and real estate expertise at its best – an excellently organised event that was arranged with a lot of know-how about the industry, and should not be missing at Expo Real in future!" Olaf Steinhage, Managing Director, hcb hospitality concepts berlin gmbh
"A successful start in a difficult environment with a top-class line-up and good talking! Congratulations, I''m looking forward to next year!" Marc K. Thiel, Managing Director, Euro Ejendomme AG, Frankfurt
