Munich/Augsburg (August 30, 2019). Despite the summer holidays, many are already pulling out their diaries in preparation for Expo Real in October (7-10 October 2019). To make planning easier, here's an update of the HospitalityInside activities: The joint stand continues to grow, the networking event "Bricks & Brains" will take place on a different day – and we also take an initial look at the programme for the hotel conference.
Four weeks ago, "World of Hospitality" counted 27 co-exhibitors, one more has registered now: the well-known consultant Tina Froböse with her young consulting firm SELECT Hotel Advisory Services based in Düsseldorf, which specialises in existing real estate.
The update and the names of all co-exhibitors at the HospitalityInside stand can be found under this link.
BRICKS & BRAINS moves to Tuesday
Save the new date! The popular networking event BRICKS & BRAINS will take place for the first time this year on Expo Real Tuesday, 8 October 2019, starting at 6.30 pm. As location we have chosen the stylish "Planning & Partnerships Forum" in Hall A2. Its lounge atmosphere ensures a relaxed feeling and keeps distances short: The Forum is just a few steps away from the World of Hospitality stand in Hall A2. What will stay the same is our "By invitation only" concept. Our guests all receive their personal invitations at the beginning of September.
We are also very pleased that this top-class, hand-picked mix of professionals from the worlds of hotel operations, hotel financing and real estate has convinced a new sponsor: Gregor Famira, Partner of the Viennese law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz, and his colleagues from other CMS offices will fly the flag of the global law firm with over 8,000 employees in 41 countries. Famira himself is a lawyer specialised in the hotel and leisure industry and has over 20 years of experience in Central and Eastern Europe.
In addition, Kempinski Hotels will once again support the industry event as the main sponsor of the evening. The catering team of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Munich this year also ensures the standard of culinary service remains high.
Conference with hot topics
The organisation of the hotel conference "Hospitality Industry Dialogue" (HID) also remains in the hands of hospitalityInside Editor-in-Chief Maria Pütz-Willems. You can check the current status here. Since we presently find ourselves in the holiday season, not all of the discussion participants have yet confirmed their participation.
The HID starts on Monday, 7 October at 12 noon in the Planning & Partnerships Forum in Hall A2 – with a discussion on the new hospitality hybrids in the micro-city, followed by a talk about the leisure hype at Resorts, Villas & Homes, the questionable role of asset light and the challenges in human resources. The presentation of STR on the changing world of the hotel chains and a highly anticipated talk with top executives about the future of the hospitality industry are closely related.
In addition, a discussion on the monetisation of digital hotel real estate will take place on Tuesday, 8 October at 11 a.m. in the neighbouring new Nova3 exhibition hall. / kn
