A red carpet and roll-ups lead the "BRICKS & BRAINS" guests to the Get-Together. |
Munich (October 17, 2014). The hospitality industry is the more colourful swath at a real estate and investment trade show. The fact that they work hard while delighting in establishing new contacts and maintaining them was proven once more at the 6th "BRICKS & BRAINS" networking event. The link below to the photo gallery provides the impressions of a successful evening. Furthermore, in front of a running camera, we asked the majority of the co-exhibitors at the "World of Hospitality" joint stand why they were participating in the trade show and how they currently assess the individual industry topics. Feel free to also recommend this YouTube video!
Around 140 guests had appeared in the "Munich Lounge" for the Get-Together during the evening of the first Expo Real trade show day and thus a loose exchange flanked by Stuffed Cornets, Asian Tuna Tartar, Duck Breast with cream pointed cabbage and other small delicacies from the Kempinski Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Munich was quite relaxing.
As "Special Guest", HospitalityInside welcomed the Managing Director of the Munich trade show, Eugen Egetenmeier, to BRICKS & BRAINS for the second time. He thanked the exhibitors for their engagement with which they gave a profile and face to the hotel industry during the trade show.
With its mix of hotel industry and real estate/investment, the top-notch networking event is now attracting a great deal of attention to itself while the inquiries from abroad are also piling up. Nevertheless, the evening event was limited to admittance of invited guests only in order to also allow for a more intensive, personal conversation within a manageable framework.

BRICKS & BRAINS would have also not come to pass this time without sponsors and this is why Kempinski Hotels, which had been a primary sponsor of this event for the 6th time, as well as the remaining "Recurring Sponsors" – bbg-Consulting, CBRE Hotels and Choice Hotels Europe – each deserve our explicit thanks. We were also able to welcome Arabella Hospitality, the hotel division of the Schoerghuber Group, to our circle of sponsors for the first time.
The red carpet will be rolled out once more next year on October 5 and it will most likely take place again at the "Munich Lounge" that has proved itself very well for networking and is only a few steps away from the "World of Hospitality".
Voices & statements of the Co-exhibitors
During Expo Real, the editorial team roved around the "World of Hospitality" joint stand with a mic and camera to capture voices and statements regarding the trade show as well as industry topics. It was not easy at all to forge ahead to the tables for these spontaneous, short interviews because the exhibitors were usually in meetings.
See and hear the voices of Azimut Hotels, Carlson Rezidor, Choice Hotels, Christie+Co, Drees & Sommer, Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, Hotour Hotel Consulting, InterContinental Hotels Group, Jung & Schleicher Solictors, Kempinski Hotels, Letomotel, LFPI Hotels Management and the Wyndham Hotel Group. An overview at the beginning of the video indicates the language in which the interview was conducted and the start times of the individual interviews. / kn
