hospitalityInside.com to cooperate with Expo Real Munich

Augsburg/Munich (May 30, 2008) hospitalityInside.com is to expand on its international and cross industry concept: Editor in chief Maria Puetz-Willems will assume the reigns for the "Hospitality Industry Dialogue" (HID) which will take place at the opening of Expo Real 2008 on 6th October 2008. Through this one-day hotel conference at Europe’s largest commercial property fair, the second largest in the world, hospitalityInside.com will consolidate its network in the real estate and investment industries and create new synergies. With respect to tourist congresses, hospitaltyInside.com has firmly established itself over the last three years through the "Hospitality Day", the hotel conference hosted at the ITB Berlin.
Last year, the 10th Expo Real attracted 23,800 visitors from 77 countries - 13% more visitors than in 2006. They came (in this order) from Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation, France, Poland, the USA and Italy. The Hospitality Industry Dialogue (HID), part of the "Special Real Estate Forum", has been a fixed institution for the last five years and has always taken place on the first day of the trade fair (Monday). The forum, which will take place in hall B3, attracted 780 visitors last year.
Up until now, the journalist Andreas Schiller oversaw contents at the HID - as well as other forums at the Expo Real. As work on his own magazine "CompEtencE Circle", a real estate magazine for Central and Eastern Europe, meanwhile one year old, consumes more and more of his time and energy, he’s handed over the HID to hospitalityInside.com.
Claudia Boymanns, Exhibitions Group Director at the Expo Real Munich, expects the Hospitality Industry Dialogue 2008, in particular the hotel real estate segment, to be a quality forum at which financiers, investors and hotel and development experts will meet to discuss ideas and do business - as in previous years. Discussion rounds shall not only serve to supply expert knowledge but also to encourage cross-industry dialogue; the core purpose of the Expo Real.
