The 10th hospitalityInside SPECIAL EXPO REAL has arrived!

Augsburg (October 4, 2019). Expo Real will open its doors again on October 7 – this time with an additional hall and a more extensive conference programme. But not only the trade fair has changed over the past year: Trends such as digitalization are forcing the entire industry to rethink, creating new business models and strategies. The 10th hospitalityInside SPECIAL EXPO REAL takes up these topics.
In times of comprehensive change, it is above all the constants that offer a point of orientation as to how far one has already come on the journey. This is why the hospilalityInside SPECIAL EXPO REAL will be appearing again this year – for the 10th time: a small anniversary! For the first time, the print run exceeds 4,000 copies this year – printed exclusively for Expo Real.
In addition to digitalisation, the SPECIAL also takes up the current personnel situation: Although the industry is booming, hoteliers have a hard time finding employees. The reasons for this and also the countermeasures are also interesting for hotel investors, because an empty hotel is a hotel without value. At the same time, the pressure to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) is increasing. The fact that a sustainable corporate strategy is not a prestige project, but can also save those involved money, explains the specialist consultant Xenia zu Hohenlohe in an interview.
By the way, not much of today's challenges could be felt 10 years ago: The contributions of the first special issue dealt almost exclusively with growth at that time, for example with the budget market and the potential of health hotels – or a small pension in space.
