The "World of Hospitality" concept in Hall 9 proved itself. |
Berlin (March 15, 2013). Even for newcomers like the payment processor WorldPay from England, the "World of Hospitality" was an ideal starting point for good business in Hall 9. The second joint stand, initiated by HospitalityInside, was itself a successful part of this year's ITB trade show bustle. The 12 co-exhibitors pleased, but the mix of the companies represented at the stand together also provided for a great deal of topics for conversation.
HospitalityInside's CI colours included in the sweeping stand sail as well as the orange ribbon behind the high-tech monitors shone far and wide to the many visitors in Hall 9. The 12 co-exhibitors came from the areas of Consulting, CSR, Software Development, IT Communication, Workforce Management, Tourism, Hotel Industry, eCommerce and Sustainability. Specifically, it involved the companies Atoss Software, HR Group, HSDS Hospitality Software Development Services, Macnetix, Media Carrier, meinpep;TUI 4 U, Siemens Enterprise Communications, Treugast Unternehmensberatung, Worldpay, Dormero Hotels, Futour Wenzel Consulting and Puetter GmbH (see link below for company profiles).

There was room for a chat with colleagues … |
"For us, 'World of Hospitality' had more advantages than disadvantages," Paul Morrissey, Vice President Travel Sector with Worldpay takes stock. "Many different commercial types were represented at the stand that gave almost a partnership sense to us in hospitality area because we were able to exchange leads and interests. I would recommend this proven stand formula to everybody." The trade show itself excelled Morrissey´s expectations and although he himself has no comparison for the year before, he values the ITB as diversified, busy and positive.
Excellent meeting point
Sandra Bardewyck, Key Account Manager for Media Carrier GmbH, is entirely satisfied: "With the Media Box, Media Carrier has introduced digital issues of newspapers and magazines for hotel guests, a completely new service concept and this was taken up very positively everywhere. Because this was our first ITB, we can say nothing about the year before. However, our expectations were fulfilled, even if we could conclude no contracts on-site." The presence at the joint stand brought only advantages to Media Carrier. "We had an approach point for meetings with potential clients who had not exhibited themselves."
Katrin Raithel, Leisure Sales Manager for the hotels of the HR Group, felt the trade show mood to be similarly positive as was the year before, 2013 registered an even more optimistic mood with the German travel operator in terms of sales figures. Because they had agreed on many appointments in advance, they were extremely satisfied with the professional visitors' resonance. "However, Hall 9 is not suitable for end-consumer contact," she limits with a view of the first weekend of public sales.

… and it was an ideal place to gain new customers and foster existing contacts. |
Adriaan Kleingeld, CEO of HSDS Hospitality Software Development Services and one of the IT representatives at the joint stand judges the ITB 2013 as substantially more positive and efficient than 2012. "I am extremely contented", in his conclusion.
The next ITB takes place from the 5-9 March, 2014, and there will also be the third "World of Hospitality". Those interested in the joint stand for next year can refer to HospitalityInside Managing Director Michael Willems under office@hospitalityInside.com . / kn
