Augsburg/Hamburg (September 22, 2023). In the current project developer crisis, the opinion of insiders is particularly in demand. How will investors react? How is the German hotel industry changing? Take part in the 10th hospitalityInside INVESTMENT Barometer, which starts today and runs beyond Expo Real Munich. For the first time, we are also giving away a highly interesting book that provides answers to questions on sustainability.
Union Investment Real Estate Hamburg is already eager to hear your answers, because the current mood test also hits the core business of this investment house.
Indeed, two of the current three trend questions revolve around investment and investors, the third around the impact of the current situation on ESG plans. In addition, we ask the familiar index questions, which you can just as easily answer with a click and which help us to assess the market changes in a long-term comparison.
Click here for the survey! Join in!
The online survey ends on Friday, 20 October 2023.

Among those who leave their eMail, we will raffle (under protection of the anonymity of the answers) three copies of an absolutely brand-new book:
"Critical Questions in Sustainability and Hospitality"
This is the title of this first edition, which provides hospitality insiders with orientation on the complex topic of sustainability. The editors of the book (in English) have compiled contributions from 40 authors and examine key questions from various perspectives in this 338-page work.
Co-editor Prof. Willy Legrand of the IU International University of Applied Sciences in Bad Honnef, Germany, who has become a sustainability specialist in recent years, notes: "The effects of human activities on the natural environment have gained broad societal and governmental attention. However, in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, many questions remain unanswered on how best to approach challenges. This uncertainty is addressed in the book. The hospitality industry is ripe for sustainable innovations, and this book promotes constructive dialogue and actions to implement sustainable hospitality solutions."
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Union Investment for their renewed cooperation - they have supported the INVESTMENT Barometer since its launch, also for the 10th time! / map
