The Germans are already urging politicians to find corona exit strategies, the British are still in the opinion-forming process, in the USA pure pessimism seems to have broken out. Jeff Weinstein of Hotels is firmly convinced that the drama can only be ended by vaccine – and that might be still 18 months away. By then, he fears, hotel groups and especially convention hotels will have broken up...
Hotel Analyst Editorial Director Andrew Sangster believes that hotels will be among the last in the queue to gradually find their way back to the "new normal" after 12 months (or more). The 25-minute conversation picked up more aspects, also positives. / red
